I got a call from the transplant center I wiling with. An altruistic donor had stepped forward, and I am a match!

If things go as planned, I will receive a kidney transplant on July 13th

Still a bit overwhelmed by the news.

Congrats! Maybe ask them about what kind of rejection meds they recommend for you post-transplant. I had an adverse reaction to Prograf.
