Birth control is it safe for me to take ????

hey everyone hope u guys are safe and healthy just wanted to ask u guys for help and opinion for birthcontrol pill. Well anywayz I have fibroids they are really small but I get really bad cramps and adnormal bleeding do to it . So I when to my gyno and he prescribed me birth control pills 💊 to help me for the pain and adnormal bleeding. The name of the med is Alyacen I haven't took it because I'm worried it could effect my kidney in some way I'm at ckd stage 3 could u guys help me or advice me if any of u r taking some thanks

That's a question for your nephrologist. Ask him/her about the medication and whether it can effect your CKD!

A nephrologist put me on birth control when I was 18. They told me never to have children so I had a tubal ligation at age 21. I attributed that in part to why I've kept my transplant so long. You should ask your doctor, but I think it's safe.
