nephron tom here: diagnosed last week with bacteremia and being treated with Invanz.They think diverticulitis. I imagine that's gotta addressed before transplant given immunosuppresents post transplant. Any help advice appreciated. Thanks.

I had diverticulitis a year after transplant & was treated with 1,000 mg of augmenton antibiotic. 7 yrs later, I'm still ok. Good luck

drdetroit: thanks for responding. even though I'm a nurse you get so much conflicting info from the docs you reach a point where you don't know if you're coming or going. Thanks/

Are you sure it's not diverticulosis & not diverticulitis. One is an infection the other is not. I still have diverticulosis, no infection
