Happy to be member of kidney tranplant i am year post kidney transplant and yesterday i just did for follow up ultrasound i discover i got mild hydronephrosis also i feel some leakage anyone who find that also thanks

Usually there is an obstruction some where causing this. Has your doctor told you where the problem is? I know that sometimes they have to put a stent in for awhile to keep the urine from building up in the kidney.

I have not had this problem, but there was someone on this site that did. He had some surgery to correct the problem and a stent was placed so it would not reoccur. Because it was done right away he did not have any scarring or damage to his transplanted kidney.

October 15th, I will be 20 years post transplant.
