Congrats on your transplant. Just watch excess sugar & salt. Maybe exercise by just walking around the ship. GOOD LUCK & have fun!!
Don't worry....you should concentrate on having a wonderful trip! You don't have to worry so much about what you should eat anymore. Your trip, etc. isn't this the whole reason you had a transplant? Enjoy and live life! I am 19+ years post transplant and watch my salt intake and drink plenty of water. I was hiking in Glacier National Park 8 months after my transplant. I had no problems and really enjoyed the trip. I just made sure I kept myself hydrated. We usually take 2 trips a year and have never had any issues!
Enjoy and have fun!
As other ppl have stated, just watch your salt and excessive exertion. They usually have purell stations all over the ship, make sure you use them. Having so many ppl on board its highly recommended that you keep your hands clean. As you Dr. prolly told you, your anti rejection drugs lowers your immune system so staying healthy is imperative as is taking your meds daily. I went on one last year and had no problems, going again in a month ! Have fun !!
