Hi everyone my name is Kevin i am on my 2nd transplant this one from a cadaver 34 yrs ago. I did hemodialysis for 3 years in the 80s. I'm 57 now and it's been quite a ride. I have had 2 brothers pass away from alports.people need 2 get on list and go for a transplant it changed my life. I have traveled 2 places never possible hooked up 2 a machine . I know it's easier said than done ,not enough 2 go around. Hang on stay healthy till your chance comes

Thank you I have been very lucky .Sometimes i forget how sick I was it was a lifetime ago. Still see alot of Drs, always something going on and staying on meds 34 yrs is not good for body I am thankfull a family in grief made a decision to save my life

Hi Kevin, My kidney transplant overall has been life-changing. I did have a case of CMV, but other than that i doing great. going back to school now.Take care of your self, and God bless you, Kevin.
