I am 63 yr old female who donated in Fort Worth on nov 18 to a 63 yr old female in Boston. Someone in Boston donated to Wisconsin. A 28 yr old female in Wisconsin donated to my 30 yr old son-in-law in Fort Worth. We would like to thank all involved in this paired match chain which all occurred on same day. Any help greatly appreciated

I was an approved donor at Fort Worth Medical City Transplant and my coordinator put me into the National Kidney Registry. I had to do a couple more tests for them, but then very quickly we were contacted about this three-way match

Were you able to connect with your recipient? I sent a letter to my donor through my transplant center. We were part of my chain also so I never knew who it was, now did I feel l need to know, but I was able to thank her. (I only knew my donor was a female in her early 30's.). My friend who donated on my behalf gave his kidney to someone in New Jersey. In all, it was a ten-way chain (five donors, five recipients). Good luck. I'd love to know if you ever find them all. Did you ask the transplant center if there's a way you're able to contact them even if anonymously (they remain unknown but still receive your thank you)?

They said they would help me after six months but that I could look on my own in social media
