Kidney Donation Complete

Yesterday I had the pleasure to donate my kidney to a stranger. The surgery went well. I am awaiting news on how my recipient is doing. The process was almost to easy. Have a little discomfort but overall it’s totally worth it to make someone’s life better. Thanks for all the kind words and support. During my recovery I want to focus on getting the word out to hopefully encourage others to at least look into being a living donor.

Well done you are absolutely amazing and a very selfless act. I'm.glad the surgery went well and you are doing well. Make sure you rest up and take it easy no to over do it.

All the best and hope you heal quickly. I am waiting for a kidney myself and for the person or family I would never be able to express my thanks in words. You truly have changed your recipients life more than you will ever know.
