Hospital Gown

Did any of you donors bring your own gown to the hospital? If so, what restrictions did they place on you about wearing it? What did you look for? Where did you get it?

I didn't even think to bring my own gown. I wore what the hospital provided.

Just wondering what made you even think to do this - comfort, pictures?

It is about comfort. Sometimes the gowns have been washed so much they are scratchy.

I had a friend who had a relative that had surgery (not related to transplants) that got her own gown to wear. But she was going to be there for several weeks so it was a bit different in that respect.

Not what you're looking for?
