Realigning my volunteer time and hoping to do more public speaking about living kidney donation.

As a living donor (Feb 2007 to my Dad), my resolution EVERYDAY is pretty much the same -- continue to try to be the healthiest person I can be (including eating well and exercising) and to promote organ donation anywhere and everywhere I can.

I think it is very important to realize that self-care is now even more important than it was before donation. The most important aspects of self-care include: healthy diet (for me, plant-based); regular movement/exercise; good sleep; good stress-management; and a community of loving friends/family.
