Dry skin

Hi everyone...

I was just wondering how you deal with dry skin. I have tried everything but nothing seems to work. I have tried creams,oils, and oatmeal baths. One person suggested a body scrub. How do you guys deal with this. Please help....

My skin got dry as well as thin. I use St Ives Collagen Body lotion and also their face moisturizing cream with collagen. Have used these products for years. However, they're only helpful for part of the day. CeraVa is the lotion everyone recommends. I tried it and it does help a lot. Skin on arms and legs stay moist longer than when using St. Ives products. If you need lotion on your back and hard to reach areas, you can get a lotion applicator on Amazon. Hope this info helps. I know it can be miserable dealing with dry, itchy skin. Best...

Cocoanut Oil...especially on the feet...slather them down and put on socks for a few hours...Cocoanut is naturally hydrating ...

i use dove mens bodywash with moisterizers,i still itch here and there,but it seems to have let up.i guess dry skin,and other problems are part of kidney disease.we have to make changes unfortunately.it'a new way of life.i'm starting 5 yrs. of hemodialysis in sept.we just have to keep going.good luck with your dry skin.i know the feeling

I had very dry skin, eyes, etc. until I discontinued diaretics against my Nephrologist's wishes. My body, my skin.
