Why are all the posts I see and read dated one year ago? Where are the newer posts?

They leave all the older posts/topics up for a while, I'm not really sure how long. But I would suppose this is so new people can read through them to gather information.

I find that there are periods where this forum will have new posts and new people joining the group. These new posts can be quite active fir 1 month or a little longer.

But then there are times when there are few new posts and few new people; the forum tends not to be so active during those times.

However, several, like me, seem to monitor the forum regularly and do respond to new topics that are posted.

You might start a new topic focused on an issue or question you've got or even just introducing yourself to the group. I joined the group to get some ideas regarding how to find a nephrologist who is open to prescribing in home PD hemodialysis. I received a lot of hood ideas from the group🐶

Also, if you post on the circle next to the name, you will get a running list of that person's posts. You might want to mention what you are looking for and that should give you some responses that will help you.
