If it's this weekend, you might have to go to the E.R.. Otherwise I would check with your doctor or whoever is on call. You may need a prescription, but you should be seen first. Good luck and please follow up with your nephrologist!

ER's are probably full up Memorial Day weekend, and if Urgent care centers are open you might try them, cost will be cheaper, and being Memorial Day those Urgent care centers could have crowded times too. Get it looked at and do it soon.

Hi rascal01, so sorry to hear this. Is the swelling much worse than normal? Have you increased your sodium? This could be part of the culprit of the swelling. This could be all CKD or part CHF. CHF has its own set of symptoms that differ from CKD. You may want to call your nephrologist first, then tomorrow contact the office for a same day appointment. Blessings

You need to be talking urgently to your team and getting blood tests. Having fluid in large amounts can cause the heart to swell. Until you do see them you should limit fluid intake and monitor blood pressure.

There may be more than just heart to worry about. Kidneys and blood vessels should be the first port of call.
