I am farhan ansari from pakistan and I am here because of my mother .she is on dialysis last 2 week and doctor recommend twice dialysis in a week . I just want to know that is it possible that dialysis will take 15 days I means twice in a month . If is it possible so please guide me .

Hello. I have never heard of dialysis 2 times a month. It's usually 3 times a week for up to 4 hours a treatment. It depends on how much urine the patient is still making, how well they are clearing the bacteria and toxins and what the doctor thinks is best...I did dialysis for 8 years.
