Kidney donor from the UK

Hi - I'm a Brit living in NYC with stage 5 kidney disease. My brother, who lives in the UK will hopefully be my donor. We are running into challenges re getting his suitability tests through the NHS or private medical providers in thr UK.

Would appreciate any assistance with anyone who has practical experience in this area.

Many thanks

All I can say is the Mayo Clinic, in Phoenix, AZ where I got my transplant, can get donor testing done in a week’s time, if the donor will come there. You may have to consider if your brother can afford to come to the US to get a lot of the tests done at once to save time.
