I went to my cardiologist who changed my meds from metotoporol succinate 100mg weaning off to 5mg Ampolodine which is going to 10mg and completely off Metotoporol but I also take 20 mg olmestartan. BP has been 115/79 and 115/70 which is good but other day 146/72 at doctors white coat syndrome

I fully understand your predicament (having been there countless times myself. I’ve been blessed that once I got back home my BP went back to controlled levels. 😊 I hope yours did too.

I have been on Amlodipine (10MG) AND Metroprolol ER (25MG) for years and my BP has been under control as well (I do BP test at home daily). But whenever I do BP at my doctor's office, my BP is always way much higher than what I got at home, it has been like that for years, I guess it's the white coat syndrome that I am having and there's not much my doctor or I can do about it.
