Interesting about the low CO2. Usually when that happens, they give you bi-carb to raise. That's baking soda in pill form. I could not take it. But I did take sodium citrate for years for the same thing. It means she has an unbalance ph. You can buy an OTC strips for checking ph.

eGFR is usually calculated with blood creatinine, how is it normal with eGFR of 60?

Was a doctor working your daughter up for some symptoms she had? CO2 can be decreased by other causes than kidney disease. The fact that you say her bun, cr, GFR are good would indicate that her kidney is likely not the cause. If the doctor doesn't have a reasonable explanation, such as diarrhea, dehydration, hyperventilation they should work her up.

egfr went from 90 to 60 i dont know about bun .she didnt have the runs and was well hydrated and calm at the time of labs.weird.

It doesn’t seem like her kidneys would cause her CO2 to be low with a gfr of 60. However, a gfr of 60 for a 32 year old seems low. I would check that again in a few months.

I'd be worried if the C02 was way high. What were the normal lab ranges and what was hers?
