Hi,I did master health checkup and they found there is a cyst with thin hair line septa in the mid pole of my right kidney. The size of the cyst is 8.8mm x 7.7 mm.
Also they mentioned no solid components or Doppler flow. I am worried of this since my age is 30.
It's not uncommon for anyone to develop cysts on their kidneys. I only have one kidney with 2 cysts on it and it is being monitored. Have your GP refer you to a specialist and have it checked to make you feel better over it.
there different types of cyst if only one more than likely not polycystic kidney you would have lots more and they look differnt one cyst they may just watch if bothering they may be able to drain it or remove it my sister my only sibling that doesn’t have polycystic kidney but she has one cyst they said it differnt than what I have and if it not bothering her they are just monitoring her
I agree with Suzell56. Cysts aren't uncommon to be found here and there throughout the body. My hubby has a cyst, too, in one of his kidneys. And, surprisingly, he also has one in his brain. Neither cyst has grown or compromised him. I think, for most people, their cysts simply aren't discovered. (If it's polycystic kidney disease, one has lots and lots of those cysts and they can also be in the liver. That condition is concerning.) My hubby's kidneys eventually failed due to his diabetes (not cyst), and he later received a transplant. The cyst was largely ignored throughout his journey. Interestingly, his brain cyst wasn't considered of importance either when hubby went through brain surgery for a hematoma. But definitely have your nephrologist check yours out to see if it poses a threat to you in anyway.
