I was diagnosed with heart disease at age 32. and had a quadruple bypass in 2015 I was diagnosed with vascular disease in 2012, and have had 3 stints placed in my abdominal artery. In 2018, I was diagnosed with lupus. Then stage 3 renal cell carcinoma in 2022. I lost one kidney and have to see a cancer specialist to make sure the cancer doesn't come back. God has a plan for me. I had no symptoms; the tumor was found after a car accident. I would probably be dead right now if not for that accident. I've been diagnosed with stage 3 B kidney disease and have recently been diagnosed with high blood pressure and a seizure disorder. From my MRI, it shows I've had a stroke in the past, although I have no idea when. I have 4 wonderful and supportive children and nine grandchildren. I have been very blessed. I also have a wonderful husband who keeps a constant eye on me. We've been married for 37 years. Time flies. My philosophy in life is to have no regrets and to live my life to the fullest, regardless of my illnesses. I'm where I need to be and with the people I need to be with, and that's what matters most in life.

What a story and I love your positive attitude. Worrying about things that may never happen never helped anyone. So glad that you’re enjoying your life

In trying to maintain the positivity youve demonstrated, see link below including comment: “With treatment and healthy life changes, many people in Stage 3 do not move to Stage 4 or Stage 5”. We use this as our mantra for mum (also stage 3). Best of luck on your journey.

Hi Tabitha, you have gone through so much with your health and I admire your attitude. You are very lucky to have a supportive family. It means everything, truly. I live alone with other health problems than the kidney, but with 2 kids in another state who are not very supportive, I often feel hopeless.

I envy you and also very happy for you. Keep living and enjoying your life with your lovely family

Thank you for posting this and giving encouragement.

Happy Valentine's Day. 🌷
