We just started Peritoneal dialysis using the extraneal purple solution for a 12 hour dwell and experiencing diarrhea. Has anyone else experienced diarrhea?

Not really. At what time - right after you add the fluid?

no it’s just sporadic you never know when it’s going to happen
Just seeing this. So Is the 12 hour dwell on the purple solution all that you do. Do you do this at night. What's supposed to be the advantage of that version of PD (other than the obvious one of not having to deal with a cycler)? Just curious. I have to do 12 hours of 1.5 regular solution using 7 exchanges which is a royal pain, doable, but still a nuisance.
