Is it ok to get pet scan with stage 3b ckd to get clearer picture of the heart recommended by cardiologist?

Ask to see if there is a contrast dye they use for that and if it is safe for CKD. They might have an alternative. They inject you with a radioactive tracer material so check if that is safe for CKD. Let them know your situation.
