i found that aveeno works for me as far as topical application
Stay hydrated and check your labs. Whenever i start itching. It's usually one of the electrolytes that are too high or a day that I didn't drink enough water. I also keep a tube of benadryl gel in the fridge to use on small itching areas. Good luck
I have recently started using Aloe Vera gel and it seems to work.
Aveno Oatmeal Lotion works well for me ...also ice is very soothing
My hubby found relief with Dermaplast spray and, when it got extreme, with Zyrtec. My husband was on dialysis at the time so he was restricted to child-size Zyrtec. Zyrtec worked the best for him. You're not on dialysis so you might bee able to use the adult version. Please check with doctor if you intend to go this route.
Gabapentin works best, talk to your care team.
Ice, anti itch creams, and drink lots of water good luck
Keep phosphorus levels wee controlled. Once uncontrolled it's more difficult to keep it controlled.
B-45 cream is great for itching
I have found that Eucerin Advanced Therapy cream or lotion really helps hydrate my skin after showering, and again if my arms and legs are drier. Hydrating the skin cuts some of the itching. Also, the anti-itch lotion SARNA cools my skin down, even though it is commonly used for sunburn, mosquito bites, etc.
