Need dietitian in Canada with U.S. renal certification

Already checked Canadian dietitian cert site. Nothing specific for renal. Some claim renal

speciality but no cert to prove it.

Checked U.S. org that does that specific cert. They don't track international dietitians who pass their cert.

Virtual is OK, Ontario is better. Private practice preferred.

Good suggestions welcome.

I live in Minnesota, the land of 10,000 doctors and cant find a certified renal dietician. May has a few in research. I found a few private pay or connected to specific dialysis clinic. I couldn't afford private psy and since im so unique, I have an ileostomy, I gave up.

My nutritionist isn't specifically certified for renal, however, she knows the renal diet and is able to guide me through learning what I need to learn. Because I had had a bad experience with a nutritionist last year, I spent time talking to nutritionists before selecting this one. I would call nutritionists and ask how much they know about renal disease and diet.

I see a nephrologist up in Orillia at Soldiers Memorial Hospital. I have a whole team including a dietician. I have no idea if she's certified or not . Maybe give the renal department a call and find out.. Good Luck
