My heart failure specialist nurse has requested my Dr. To put me back on lisinopril medication which I was taken off 3 years ago due to kidney problems. It would appear my Dr is loathe to do this so am now between the devil and deep blue sea. I still certainly have akd and the specialist nurse indicated if this is the case, she no longer needs to see me. What am I supposed to do???

I read that we with ckd are more likely to die of heart disease than the ckd. Maybe you were on too high of a dose of lisinopril.
Also take Losartan for blood pressure but depends on why you are on the drug. Heart failure or blood pressure. Get a second opinion.
Hi Fatbuddy, I live in the UK and thank you for your response.
2.5 mg of lisinopril brought my protein under control. One never knows. I always stopped taking higher doses of other drugs because they made me feel like crap. If a little works, you don't want a lot. All drugs have side effects.
