Hello everyone.
I am new to this website and I thought I would join because I wanted to ask this question.
I am a patient with autosomal dominant CKD. I was diagnosed at 28 years old and am now 32. I have opted to not take any medications that my nephrologist had suggested and instead choose to drink lots of water (which was also an option he had given me).
Recently I have been going through some family stress in my life (grandmother reached end-of-life yesterday) and so I have not been eating much/healthy and have not been drinking a lot of water; I usually drink 3L of water daily.
I have been experiencing pain in one of my kidneys when I take deep breaths in, and also when I just manually stick out my stomach. I'm not sure if this is a common symptom but it is very uncomfortable. So I wanted to ask on here if anyone has experienced this same symptom as well? How do you feel? Is there anything you do to help the pain?
Thank you for reading my post.
