Like just another Thanksgiving dinner when I'm not traveling. I'll speak to my grandkids in the afternoon via computer and work in my yard. The birds may not know about Thanksgiving but they enjoy the food. Small portions so I don't blow my meal plan, especially with labs coming up a few days later.

I hope everyone stays safe over this holiday season.

We will not have a large family gathering this year. It will just be my wife and one grandson that's living with us. We're having a small turkey breath and other small portions.

Enjoy your Thanksgiving meal

Wishing everyone a Happy Thanksgiving. It will be different for us this year, but i still feel grateful for what we have. Not doing any cooking this years after doing it for so many years. It will be take out turkey dinner with emphasis on veggies and salads. Best to all and prayers for those who are struggling. ❤

I was alone for Thanksgiving this year—COVID precautions. So, I, too, ordered delivery. I actually thought it would be good to support one of the local restaurants. They’ve been struggling financially this year. All things considered, it was a quiet but pleasant day.

I hope you had a lovely Thanksgiving. Thank you for supporting your local restaurants - they need our help. While we didn’t order out our Thanksgiving meal, we do order take out a few times a week to show our support. As a transplant recipient I try to order mostly vegetarian meals.

I’m in Stage V but still not on dialysis. I’m also actively waitlisted for a deceased donor kidney transplant. Like you, I order meals 1-2 times a week to help support two small independent restaurants. Both customize meals using Whole Foods and natural ingredients.

I’m able to order fresh dinner salads that use plant based protein. They also have healthy vinegarette salad dressings. I get to choose the vegetables for the salads so can make them fit my renal diet constraints.

I feel very fortunate to still have a full time job and so want to do what I can to help others earn a viable income.

I have been cooking for days thinking I am feeding an army. But it is just three of us. I am going to enjoy the fruits of my labor without guilt but within a healthy way. Happy Thankgiving everyone.
