My husband is At the walk in clinic. His eyes are swollen and can’t see out of one. Is this a sign of his kidney failure? His GFR is at 9. Any ideas would be great! Thank you

Sorry to hear about this. I think an MD can answer the question better than myself. Let us know what you find out!
I am at 9% well actually 8% now and it was not something I experienced.
With a GFR of 9, he's already in kidney failure and should probably start dialysis soon if not already started. Kidney disease is one possible cause of swelling around the eyes due to fluid retention. It's good that your husband is at the doctor's office to get that looked into.
Swollen eyes, face, hands and ankles are all related to kidney failure unfortunately!
Sounds like its definitely time for his renal replacement therapy to begin..minimize his salt intake
