GFR increase

Hey. Morning. Went to the doctor last night and my GFR has gone down. And there are skin cells in my urine this happened when I first got the stent. And the doctor said it was just dead kidney cells. And now it’s back. I am scheduled to have the stent replaced next week. I was really hesitant. But now I’m looking forward to it. Tired of feeling like crap. I hope everyone else is having a better day

Hang in there. It can and will get better. I thought I was having a great summer until I started having side pain. At first, I thought it was from too much hiking in the Rockies. Turns out my gallstones were revolting. I get the last word on that and I'm having them removed along with the entire gallbladder in the coming weeks. I don't eat fatty foods with my kidney-friendly meal plan so I'll just have to deal with the loss.

You keep positive about the stent replacement and I'll do the same about my soon to be gone gallbladder.

Thanks Mr Kidney. Good for you. Teach that gallbladder a lesson

Take Care of Yourself, Mr._Kidney.

No surprise like that is fun, but it will soon be over and you will be on the mend.

My warmest thoughts are with you.
