Kidney Research Donations

Hi All

I hope you are doing ok or coping with the card you have been dealt with love and support from family and friends.

I'm being a bit cheeky but was wondering if any of you could help raise money for Kidney Research. My parents wanted to be my live donor but due to them having minor issue with their kidneys themselves which they didn't know until they got tested to help me.

They decided in May that they would walk 300 miles between May - September. Well they've done it and actually achieved more than the target.

I joined them on a few walks and ended it with them today on their last walk.

If any of you could help raise money for Kidney Research it would be much appreciated, no donation to small.

Thanks. Wow that's amazing I didn't realise there was a conference this weekend. Blackpool is a long way for me but I wish you all the luck in the world.

Things aren't the best at the moment and function is down to 4.5% with 10kilis of fluid overload so just getting everything set up to start dialysis. Dad and i are about to start training.

Hope you are doing well and home HD is going well for you.

Hi,

Home dialysis works well for me especially as I am now doing nocturnal every other day. Outcomes for this form of dialysis is as possible effective as a transplant my consultant tells me. I do get clearance of around 360 + litres which is similar to one kidney.

Training for HHD was excellent in my unit at Derby, hope all goes well with your training.

That's brilliant news you are doing so well. My question is how are you feeling? How many hours do you do at Night?

My renal is Oxford and hear good thing there too so fingers crossed.

I'm really pleased everything is going so well. Keep up the hard work
