I have seen websites that you can pay them monthly for them to find you kidneys. How realible are these?

NKF is not affiliated with these sites and does not endorse them. The best way to find a living donor is to share your story with friends, family and members of your community. We offer tips and information on how to do so on our website at: kidney.org/transplantation/... under "The Big Ask"
Stay away from any site that asks you for money. You shouldn't have to pay for your "gift of life." There are so many "scams" out there now, that I would not trust that site. I see Kelli has also answered your question. Like she suggested, go to NKF website. You know they are standing with you and your search for a new kidney. Good luck. Let us know how you are doing?
I have had experiences with a couple of those sites and would highly discourage anyone from getting involved with them. Without going into too much detail they charge a boatload of money and still require you to do most of the work in finding a kidney. Check out living donation or start a facebook page advertising your own need. It is free and FB will walk you through the process. First step though is to get on the transplant list. That alone is a big hurdle you will be happy to cross off your "to do" list. Blessings
