I am age 76 and diagnosed a year ago with stage 3 kidney disease. I am on a very rigid renal diet to restrict phosphorus, sodium and potassium. I was not diagnosed at stage 2, although my bloodwork indicated was real problem. So far condition has stabilized with diet and prescribed exercise routine.
