Hi, only discovered this 10 minutes ago! Still not sure I’m ready/in the mindset for WeightLoss but need to do it for health. Any tips and pointers for starting? And getting motivated and changing my mindset

Morning!

I’ve started my journey on Thursday so you are already more experienced than me! Hope your journey is off to a good start!

I sometimes think that we think we’re not in the right mindset but that this is often because we’ve experienced diets that make us too hungry and/or we’re eating too much sugar so we’re getting sugar highs or spikes followed by sugar slumps this make us think we’re emotionally in need of sugar or other junk food. I’m not saying emotional eating doesn’t exist of course but often it’s more physical than we think. If you’re not ready to lose weight yet you could start by eating lots but only fresh, healthy food for a couple of weeks. Never get starving hungry, even when you’re trying to lose!
