Layer of fat on my tum

Right. I visually look average for my height but I have I would say a layer of fat on my tum and can't seem to shift it. What do I do?

I don't eat sweets nor drink fizzy drinks. From Jan I only drink spirits. I've cut down fatty foods from my diet as yes I did perhaps consume too much before.

I have recently (a week) begun running and can run for around 15mins at a good pace. Naturally looking to increase this but I know it'll take time.

Any tips welcome thanks

Hello and welcome to our friendly forum Hwhu,

It is very hard to shift fat from any one particular area. It seems to come off where it wants to, not where we want it to.

You would be better to cut the carbs you are eating and keep the good fats. Well done for giving up those sugar laden sweets and drinks. Spirits still have calories , would you rather drink them or eat them?
