Weighing machine and body fat monitor

Hello everyone,

Have been seeing some posts about members weighing themselves in the Boots store. From what I can see it not only weighs you but gives you your BMI and Body Fat percentage as well.

Can anyone please verify if Boots have weighing scales in store?

I have massive respect for anyone brave enough to weigh themselves in public, with clothes on etc! The payoff is that extra information though.

There are no scales in my local (small) Boots, but I think they have them in most big stores in big towns - including Banbury, where I was the other day.

Yes they do. You can set the scales for just weight and BMI or for 30p extra it calculates body fat too (although I believe this can be a bit unreliable?)

Where I go is not too public as it is in a private corner at the end of the shop.

Part 2... I'm not sure that all Boots have them though.

Just so long as they don't put the results over the public address system!!!😂😊😮

I think only the larger stores have scales, and I agree about the body fat % being unreliable 😕. Most GP practice nurses will also weigh you weekly if you ask, as another added incentive
