  • You are doing very well! You lost 1/2 kg in 1 week! Fantastic! Just keep doing what you are doing as it seems to be working. Who cares what you are doing as long it is healthy and you are loosing. I am exactly like you I could not do calorie counting I found also it was too difficult and I lost 1.5 stones since November. You cut out sugar which is great!

Regarding the NHS sorry I can't help as I don't do it. I just walk/run in the park. You are going on the treadmill that is great!

I hope I have helped you!

  • Thank you very much your appreciation and helping me to motivate by giving your own example. What you are doing that's fantastic bakerdozen .

    Have lovely Sunday.

  • I also don't eat any yeast, red meat, dairy, eggs and sugar. Sometimes I do cheat. I used to count points but now I already know. I eat fruits and vegg, bit of nuts if I do fancy a snack. I eat 3 healthy meals plus a drink only water Fill up on water. My last meal is 6 but should be not later than 7. I also make sure to walk every other day for at least an hour could be longer.

    Good Luck!

  • How helpful you are,so kind of you.Thank you soooo... Much for the details. I love water to drink a lot too.But I love boiled eggs and skimmed milk too.I feel they are good foods for my health but sugar is a big nooooo......

    Thanks again for being here.bakerdozen.

  • Sorry I should have been very clear eggs d milk are permitted but I just don't eat it due to endo. When I was eating eggs and milk I was still loosing as I was counting everything in my points. in other words I used to go to weight watches. I still have the book with all the points and i jut used to cunt my points and only eat within my limit. Yes you may eat everything but like you are doing just smaller portions. The fact that you cut out sugar is excellent as that is very high in calories. You are doing great!

  • For me and this might help, I cut out all refined sugar, believe me I was a real pudding/cake type of girl, now I just don't have them, only good yogurt and sugar free jelly, it has made a huge difference in my weight loss. Also if I feel the need for bread I buy just 1 roll, never a loaf?

  • Thanks for your answer as also love to have cake or any pudding after or anytime of the day. It's difficult sometimes it's in front of me but I don't eat,I can feel this resistance its all because of the motivation me getting from here.

Thank you very much for being here.

  • Hi Alli-Awan,

Well done on your weight loss so far. Are you using the treadmill at home or at a gym? Speed/level and cals burned?

I and many others in here use myfitnesspal app input all food, counts your steps but I don't put in my exercise cals because 1 day is cardio and the next is strenght-abs-core etc. Try doing that as well as the treadmill.

    Keep up the good work

  • Well done Alli-Awan, I also use the myfitnesspal app. It's easy to use, I liked finding my way around using it and I've done really well with it.

Good luck and keep going : )

  • Lovely ! Thanks for the support, is fitnesspal free or need to pay?I love the people here who are so supporting each other.

    Have lovely Sunday.

  • Free : ) there is a paid version but I've never felt I needed it.

  • Thanks for your support Wendy,

I use treadmill at home instead of gym but I do it for more than 40 minutes 3 times a week with calories burnt around 300.but I wanted to burn 500cal by adding some time and speed as well.

Ifelt difficult to do exercise on my own. Have you joined 12weeks fitness plan or couch 5k or flex fitness .I want to join it have you got any suggestions.

My fitnesspal is free or have to pay? Have lovely Week ahead.

    Thanks again.

  • Hi,

My fitnesspal is free, easy to use and will shock you has it measures cals, carbs, protein and micronutrients.

If you like noodles/rice try barenaked they are either in gluten free/rice section low in cals and carbs but £2 a pack does 2 meals. Basmati rice I find is better than whole or brown. Make sure you eat some form of protein after your workout. These are all things I have learnt on my journey.

I go to puregym and don't have the guts to do run or anything like that. Gym is enough. Are you going to do one? Sounds like you have the treadmill planned out right. Do whatever works for you as long as you succeed.

    Good luck
