How can I find out what the Dementia strategy and GP charter is in my area?
How should GPs be arranged and what service can I expect from them. What should happen to a patient after an Alzheimer’s diagnosis with respect to follow ups and reviews? Who is responsible for their care?
Not that any one reads or follows them, You can request literature on dementia from you GP and your local CCG. You can also request NICE guidelines as well, or look them up online. Once you have these, It would be easier for you to spot when not getting appropriate care. Remember majority of NHS staff only wants to avoid work and deceive patients.
Your ongoing disdain for the NHS is neither productive or warranted. You are doubtless one of a minority of people who would be quite happy to see an end to free health care. Resticting your views/opinions to the subject matter you are replying to would be more in line with the spirit of Healthunlocked.
Ikan’s response gave me some pointers unlike yours which added no value to the discussion. Not sure who you work for but if you want to complain about a user then I suggest you find another way.
Please refer to "Go Refferal" (scott 1970) for further insight into the basis of my post. It is my considered oipinion that this is not a forum for NHS bashing albeit you obviously disagree.
