All the nearest hospitals to where I live (Bath/Bristol) had very long waiting times for Neurology appointments so my GP agreed to make a second referral to the main Neurology hospital in London to see if she could speed things up.
I then received an appointment from my nearest hospital in Bath to be seen almost immediately. I attended this appointment and was given a 'probable diagnosis of Multiple Sclerosis'. This hospital does not specialise in MS The next day the hospital in London called to offer me an appointment. I would like to take this appointment as it is generally a much better hospital and specialises in Multiple Sclerosis.
Can I take this second appointment?
