Hello Mohsin4U
I suspect you are probably addressing your concern to the wrong groups of people. You would probably need to address your concerns to the World Health Organization. In the majority of cases the NHS simply buys the cheapest, most effective product that is available. Research into new products and their eventual production and sale are something else altogether. And because the majority of people in UK really don't mind, or will put up with a pork-produced vaccine, if that's what's available and it does the job, there's probably no great incentive to seek a pork-free one.
I am a vegetarian and would be delighted if no animals were ever used in research or the production of drugs, but I am a realist, so for the sake of my own health, or the common good, I am willing to compromise my own beliefs when it is necessary. I find some things quite sickening, like the capture of the green monkey for the production of polio vaccine, but equally I would find it sickening to see the return of polio to this country, having seen the epidemics in the 1950s and 1960s in UK, therefore I would always recommend that people choose to protect themselves.
