Okay so I had a stir fry for dinner on Monday which resulted in me pooping whole noodles the whole of yesterday, it literally didn't digest at all? Now today I have diarrhea. Would go to doctor but I need to apply as I recently moved house and I'm not registered yet.

Sorry for the TMI, thank you in advance for your help!

You can see any doctor as a temporary patient. Just call and ask to see someone, they will ask you to fill out a firm. Hope you feel better soon x it's important on RA drugs to get diarrohea checked xx

Starch (I am assuming noodles are a starchy food) is digested initially in the mouth by salivary amylase. Since you are saying that the noodles did not digest at all, I think this is where the problem lies. When in the stomach the food forms what is known as chyme, which is made acidic. This acid neutralizes the digestive activity of salivary amylase. This acid is then neutralized as the chyme enters the intestines, where more amylase is produced. Salivary amylase is produced by the pancreas. A lack of production of salivary amylase could mean a number of things. Best thing to do is to inform a doctor as soon as possible and describe exactly what you have written here.
