the nhs is good at repairs to the body but it is almost impossible at maintaining health (i.e. health checks on a regular basis) . If anyone knows how or where to obtain a m.o.t. style service it would be useful.

Doesn't your GP practice offer annual health checks and medication reviews? Mine does and I thought it was the norm.

What do you mean by health checks. A health check for the eyes is different to a health check for high blood pressure.

There are activities that help one to keep fit. Which your doctor would not know about unless the local health authority was pushing that particular practice.

I'm sorry if you don't know what a health check is and there is no point in continuing this conversation

I have had my ears bent by many people concerning the lack of good health checks fit for purpose. These health people have had health checks. So I know what a health check is.
