But I would recommend that you join the British Lung Foundation HU Forum.

I have RLD which is different but compounded with Pulmonary hypertension. I would not take the stages as the real benchmark as their are people with very poor stages still working.

Hi Minky,there are stages of Copd but they are quite vague and differ depending on which hospital you attend.I have severe emphysema or very severe when at the Brompton.My Fev1 is 20% so I can,t get much worse.According to my GP I,m at stage 4 and on maximum medication,next stop transplant if I,m lucky I suppose.My attitude is it does,nt matter what stage ,I intend to stick around and annoy everybody for a long time yet lol.Good luck D. 😋

hi thank you for the reply when you say your fev what is that l don't actually know about the illness justhow it affects me when lm doing things so all l can say is l have a gaget l put on my finger and it says 91 oxygen moniter l was also told by the hospital doctor l was oxygen boarder line whatever that meant so going back to hospital on 17th see what they say
