I pledge to try and get my GP to listen to all I have to say before he writes out a prescription. Hopefully this will apply to everyone.

I Think it should be the GP making the Pledge. The trouble is most do not listen

Suggestion - Write a short list of the main points you want to say before you go in. Helps the message become succinct and complete.
