Is it neuropathy?

I have a constant electric tugging feeling down the back of leg and front of knee 24/7, it is driving me insane. My leg will jerk sometimes as well. It is a very distressing feeling....has anyone had this and if so has anything helped it?

Neuropathy is hard to pin down just from symptoms; it seems to attack each individual with a new deck of cards. (I speak from 30 years experience with it.) What you describe sounds to me more like a muscle spasm or irritated tendon, which a muscle relaxant or increase in some dietary minerals might address. But the only way to be sure is get a proper work-up.
