Spinal Cord Injuries and Ageing - concerns about future care needs.

My spinal cord injuries (SCI) were now over 35 years ago.

I’m in the UK and I am worried about getting older with SCI.

I didn’t think I would live to even this age (50’s) so haven’t planned financially and now worry about what will happen care wise in the future when I will need my carers more than the time they come in now.

What do others with SCI think about getting older? Are there any positive aspects of getting older - like emotional resilience???
