Functional neurological disorder diagnosis

Hi everyone, thanks for adding me. I was recently diagnosed with Functional Neurological Disorder after a 10-year-long search for a diagnosis to figure out what was wrong with me. I am still learning a lot about this. I had no idea that my issues were even neurological. I had been told by doctors for years that it was all physical and mental health and did not see a neurologist until last month. I had to wait a year and a half to see a neurologist and I'm relieved to have a diagnosis but I also don't really know what to do next. I'm getting into an FND clinic in Boston, but my appointment isn't until June and I'm not sure what to do in between now and then to try to start to improve. I would love to connect with anyone who would be willing to offer some support and guidance, and I will absolutely offer any support I can in return. I am here to learn and to make progress.
