Neurological hand injury… anyone relate?

I was involved in a collision with a drunk driver 2 years ago which left me with 19 fractures, numerous internal injuries and in a coma for 6 days. When I came out of that coma my life fell to pieces and I have not been the same since.

One of my most prominent injuries is my brachial plexus injury that has left me with a partially paralysed left hand. The frustration this causes me is soul destroying. I already struggle so much with mobility and mental health issues related to this incident but my the fact my hand doesn’t work gets me down like nothing else. That feeling when I cannot carry something or open something absolutely destroys me. No therapy or rehab helps me overcome this and I’m not sure what to do as I feel so alone in this. My psychiatrist recommended I try and find other people with a similar issue and see how they cope because I am really not coping. Being 22 and disabled has destroyed me and everyday I sit and wonder how long I can deal with this.
