Neuropathy following spinal disc problems

Hello all. Joining this group to see if I can get some advice about my condition.

I have a bewildering array of nerve symptoms throughout my whole body following a lumber disc prolapse and subsequent discectomy. I get a range of burning / fizzing / freezing / dagger pains in my feet, lower legs, groin, hands, arms, face, internal mouth, throat and chest. All as though my nervous system has gone bonkers. Taking pregabolin but only 150mg/day which keeps a lid on it for some of the time but it breaks through on occasions. Today whole body is burning.

Any ideas why, what’s happening or how to cope with it? Neurologist seems to think just recovery . But it’s not getting any better 7 months on...

Many thanks
