my daughter had "right percutaneous stereotactic radiofrequency rhizotomy"done. Poor girl seems to be in more pain than ever. She now suffers from constant headache and painful teeth. Does she need to be patient for healing to take place?is this normal after procedure?Has anyone had similar experience? Please i would like to have some experience's shared or some advise.
Thanks a lot

I've not had this procedure, but periodically experience what I call "stabbing face pain" that radiates from above my eyes down through my cheeks, leaving my teeth to feel as if someone beat them if that makes sense. i'm sorry your daughter is suffering. again, I haven't had the procedure, but when I have stabbing face pain, it tends to last a few hours and then fades until the next time.
thanks for the reply.according to an ENT doctor who saw her (she been admitted since last week Wednesday)she did not need that procedure, something wrong with jawbone, says she's gnashing on her teeth at night, now they made a plate she has to sleep with. And they doing another MRI tomorrow . She told doctor she won't leave hospital till they cure the pain she is enduring in the teeth. Poor woman considering root canal on the paining teeth. I don't know if that is the answer.
