Anterior Cervical Disectomy

Hi everyone

I had an operation just before Christmas to have a degenerative disc replaced in my neck. The worn disc was pinching my nerves causing a lot of discomfort. A dull aching pain in my arm and the loss of feeling in my fingers. The op seemed to be a success. I had the required amount of time off work and did a phased return when I did go back.

However the symptoms have returned. And seem even worse. The dull aching pain is now becoming almost unbearable and it’s constant. I’ve been re referred back to the surgeon and I need another MRI scan.

Has anyone else experienced this before? I’m concerned that I’m going to need another op.

Thanks

Hi, haven’t had the surgery you’ve described and very new to this but have a degenerating disc c5-6 and have similar pain that you’ve described. I hope you find some answers.
