Hi,i have chiari malformation which syringomyelia usually is a symptom of. Chiari is when the cerebral tonsils(lowest part of brain)falls into the spinal space. With syryingomyelia or syrinx its a pocket of fluid in bthe spinal space down next to the spinal chord. Were you diagnosed with chiari malformation at all or just syringomyelia?what were your symptoms and have you had mri's andcwhat was the outcome?

Hi Emmy thanks for reply,diagnosed as syringomelia about 20_years ago,looking to share experiences of living with condition good and bad
